It has been 47 days since all of our documents were logged into the computer system in China. Today we officially received our Letter of Approval. This is basically China saying "yes" for us to adopt our son! This is a huge relief! With all the changes that happened a while ago with the China adoption program we were just praying that we would get through with no issues.
The next steps are completing more paperwork including documents that have to back to US immigration so that they can officially approve us to bring Adam home. Since we already have visas to enter China, we don't have to reapply for those but we still have to get the very final travel approval meaning that we can come to China to adopt Adam! With all the holidays (both USA and China) we plan to travel sometime in March. I can now say that it finally feels real! We're coming buddy!
