I wrote this post originally during Asher's adoption but it is relevant to where we are at this exact moment.
We are still in a waiting phase but I guess no news is good news! I wanted to share this timeline that shows every step of the process. If you follow the numbers carefully you can see exactly what every step is and where everything goes. I know this is a bit chaotic to look at, but honestly that is how some of this process has felt trying to figure out what goes where. Right now we are waiting for step 8 to happen. The LOA is the "letter of approval" from China that officially gives us permission to adopt our son.
