If you ask me how the adoption is going, usually my response is that we're just "waiting" for something. Waiting for documents, waiting for a notary, waiting for approval... this list goes on and on of things we have to wait for.
So currently our documents are sitting in Chicago with the courier to take to the Chinese consulate on Tuesday to get them authenticated. Then the courier will pick everything up the next Tuesday and overnight them back to us. Then we will be ready to send everything to China! It's a slow process but it will be worth it in the end. Until then...we will continue waiting...
